He loves sharing this knowledge and experience to help educate both the team and our clients. At WiZDOM Accounting he is known and respected as our “jack of all trades” and “spreadsheet master””.

Kandi’s journey in the finance world began in 2007 when she started working with a property investment company in Queensland. After graduating from University, Angela started her career in banking and has worked for all the major banks at some point.  During her ten plus years in banking she gained experience in Finance, Financial Planning and Business Development. This gave Angela a well rounded base for her future in finance, both personally and professionally.

For the next ten years whilst raising 3 children, Angela was actively involved in a building and property development company owned by her husband.  With her finance background, their joint passion and drive for property they were involved in numerous development projects and continue to do so.

In 2017 finance become more difficult with the increased regulation and scrutiny on lending practices, which particularly affected their client base of developers.  Angela decided becoming a mortgage broker would be an ideal way to assist these clients to achieve their development goals, as she knows the right funding is vital when purchasing or developing property. Angela has worked as a self employed mortgage broker with her client base predominately consisting of  investors and developers.

Gary’s career in the finance industry started in 2005, working as both a Mortgage Broker and Financial Planner. As a Mortgage broker is and always has had a predominant focus on assisting property investors. Whilst as a Financial Planner, Gary serviced clients all over the country covering the full spectrum from Risk Insurance, SMSF funds to mortgage reduction. Laki’s passion for business started early, working in his family’s butcher shop in Yarraville, Melbourne. This experience taught him how to connect with people from all walks of life. Later, he ran a café in South Melbourne, further fuelling his entrepreneurial spirit.

With a corporate background in IT, Laki began his career as a Computer Operator in the late ‘90s. In 2006, he moved to London, working for the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE Euronext), where he was first exposed to the world of investing. While stocks weren’t his focus, reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad sparked his interest in property investment. Over four years, he acquired six investment properties in England and helped colleagues do the same using a simple, effective strategy.

Prior to Accounting, Andrew spent for 16 years in Sales and Marketing in the building industry. Common factors in all roles in his career and the area Andrew enjoys and excels in is teamwork and customer service.

Since joining WiZDOM in 2024 as a Senior Accountant, Andrew has continued to deliver outstanding support to colleagues so they can best service their clients. Andrew’s role is overseeing the review of client’s work for our Client Advisors/Senior Accountants. Andrew takes pride in the delivery of work efficiently and effectively and achieving the best outcomes for our clients. Andrew provides support to Jade, our Managing Partner, by way of helping with the ongoing training and mentoring of our staff members. Andrew is the first one to jump in whenever anything needs to be done!

Lloyd has come from a successful business background, and has always had a passion for property, with his father being one of four brothers who followed in their father’s profession and all became builders. When he relocated to the UK in 2004, Lloyd commenced his journey in the industry through working at letting and real estate agent, quickly progressing to working for one of the top investment companies in the UK. Initially Lloyd was a client manager which involved helping clients to build their property portfolio, before holding a highly respected role as a property sourcer. This involved securing approximately 4 million pounds of property per week for the company from developers and builders throughout the UK.

Lloyd believes in the benefits of investing and along his journey has personally acquired a number of properties. During this process Lloyd has utilised a number of property strategies including but not limited too; below market value deals, renovations, low money down deals, joint ventures, multiple occupancy properties, positive cash flow properties and development and construction projects.

Upon returning to Australia 4 years later he immersed himself in the Australian property market and along the way became qualified as a finance/mortgage broker and a real estate agent representative. Lloyd’s passion is helping people achieve their life goals and assisting clients to reach financial freedom. Lloyd provides a reliable source of financial education through a trustworthy and personalised service. Lloyd is an easy going and friendly person who always has his client’s best interests at heart.

Lloyd’s other interests include sport and travel. He loves all sports but has a passion for cricket which he has played all his life. Andrew is a Director of WiZDOM Loans and an active member of the Loans Management Team. Andrew is the “face” of WiZDOM Loans from an educational, event presentation and Finance Update perspective. He is also active in the ongoing training and support to our team of Finance Strategists. His goal is for everyone to be their best and works to ensure they are supported in doing whatever needs to done to achieve this.

Andrew is a career finance professional and business owner. Starting his career in a large family owned Furniture Removal business at the age of 12, Andrew learned about business and hard work at an early age.  Following University, Andrew joined a Big 4 Bank in 2001, working in various roles across rural South Australia and Adelaide, culminating in an Executive Manager role for Canberra and South Coast NSW. After a great 11 plus year career with that Bank, Andrew decided that it was time to create a business for himself and returned to Adelaide and started a Finance Broking business.

Andrew is passionate about helping good people achieve good things and loves the opportunity to do this every day with the team of Finance Strategists at WiZDOM

Andrew is also a keen property investor, and invests with his immediate family. Andrew is particularly passionate around regional multi-unit properties, Commercial Properties and Development.

Aimee’s predominant role with WiZDOM is to support our Management Team, and to assist with the onboarding and ongoing training of the national WiZDOM Mortgage Broker group.

Aimee has excellent product, policy and procedural knowledge and is known for providing exceptional customer service. This is what she imparts to our new team members. Aimee is passionate about helping and supporting her colleagues and their clients with their finance strategies and property goals.

Aimee has been with the WiZDOM Team since 2013, initially as a Loan Writer and Executive Assistant to WiZDOM Loans Director Tony Height, and then taking on her own clients as a Mortgage Broker from 2017.

Prior to Mortgage Broking, Aimee worked with one of the “Big 4” banks for 15 years, during which time she experienced every aspect of working in the Retail Banking branch network; beginning in a Customer Service role, progressing quickly to a Sales and Service Specialist, Manager of Personal Lending and Branch Management.

In her personal life, Aimee loves spending quality time with her family and has a passion for travelling, eating delicious food, reading great books and practicing Pilates.

Whilst studying Jackson worked in hospitality in hotel management so understands accounting and business from firsthand experience. Jackson has a strong commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of clients running a business, as being from a fifth generation farming family he knows of challenges and where effective accounting advice can be integral to success.

Away from work, Jackson enjoys visiting the family on the farm and spending time with friends. Jackson also plays rugby league and continues to be actively involved as a NRL assistant game development officer, helping to grow and expand the sport for younger players.

Corrin is a professional specializing in Corporate Governance and Risk Management, with over seven years of experience handling Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) related enquiries. She has served as an ASIC Services Manager, demonstrating her expertise in navigating regulatory frameworks. Before starting her Corporate Governance role, Corrin held various administrative roles, where she developed a keen ability to identify and implement improvements in processes.

Additionally, Corrin pursued studies in Counselling, an area of knowledge that continues to provide valuable insights in managing relationships and resolving conflicts offering an additional dimension to her professional approach.

In her leisure time, Corrin’s love for spending time with family and engaging in outdoor activities like braai’s (barbeques), camping, swimming, and walking paints a picture of someone who values a balanced, enjoyable lifestyle.

Starting off her career in Advertising, Ruth became a Senior Account Manager working with Multi-National clients firstly in New Zealand then London for over 10 years. Ruth was responsible for the allocation and management of millions of dollars in client advertising budgets, advertising campaigns and building strong client relationships. This gave her a wealth of experience working with a broad client base and strong business management skills.

After returning to Australia to start a family, Ruth commenced a new career in finance as a Mortgage Broker in 2006, firstly working with a Brokerage firm in Sydney, then taking on a role as Principal of a Financial Solutions business working alongside a large Real Estate chain in Newcastle. Around the same time Ruth established a strong referral relationship with a large Accounting and Financial Planning Firm in Newcastle and worked with them until she was introduced to our Network

Ruth has been a Strategist with the team since 2011 and is passionate about helping clients achieve their goals and assisting them with strategy and finance requirements.

A keen property investor herself Ruth has successfully completed a number of her own property strategies and Joint Venture Deals.

Simone has been working in the Banking & Finance Industry since the early 2000’s. She first started out as a Mortgage Broker at the age of 18. This was both challenging and rewarding and Simone experienced some good success in both broker and broker support roles although she was finally attracted by the bright lights of a Big Bank.  She started with a role in Credit Assessment for Residential Lending followed by roles in both Commercial and Agricultural Lending & Business Banking teams as an Assistant Manager.

After 7 years of working for Banks, Simone saw an opportunity to support Finance Broking businesses through remote assistance of loan application lodgement and tracking as a third party provider.  This lead Simone to starting up a business with a Bank colleague and building that business from the ground up of the next few years.

Simone came into contact with WiZDOM Loans through that business, and instantly loved the strategy, support, network and the relationships they had with their clients.

Simone is also a keen property investor, investing with her family as this works well for her so she can spend more time doing what she is more so passionate about – finance and helping clients achieve their property goals.  Simone is particularly passionate about renovations having completed several over the years with cutting her teeth on her first at age 23. She loves to be hands on and getting on the tools!

In the time that Simone spends away from WiZDOM, she loves travelling Australia and Overseas. Scuba diving and Golf are two passions that she gets to enjoy whilst travelling.

After several years in fund administration and accounts positions for major corporations such as Mellon Global Investments and ING in London, Kim moved into restaurant management and building services. Cassie has joined the finance industry in the early 2000’s. She has been a Finance Specialist with WiZDOM since 2022 and before stepping into Finance Specialist role Cassie directly supported Director Andrew Kubenk and the larger WiZDOM Loans team for 8 years. In her role Cassie was actively involved in all aspects of customer service and loan lodgement for clients. Cassie has extensive knowledge and experience in maximising outcomes for clients and also understands the many strategies that are applied in our business. Prior to joining WiZDOM Cassie was a Big 4 Bank Branch Manager for 10 years.

Cassie is passionate about finance and working with her clients to achieve their property dreams – be they big or small.  Cassie will always strive to meet the needs of her client in a supportive and personable way. For  Cassie its important that a client understands what is happening, what are their options  and that they are working together to get the desired outcome.

Prior to becoming a mortgage broker, Andrew has worked in the training industry, was a sports journalist and operated his own accounting practice for 8 years.
