In his early teenage years, Laki worked in the family business, a butcher shop in Yarraville, Melbourne. It was here where Laki learnt how to engage people of all ages and cultural backgrounds. Everyone liked to have a laugh with their local butcher! Laki enjoyed business from a young age and ran a café in South Melbourne.
Laki is well travelled, culturally sensitive and has a corporate background in IT. “I started out as a Computer Operator in the late nineties. I moved to London in 2006 and worked for the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE Euronext). It was here where my eyes opened to the world of investing. Stocks and shares weren’t my things at the time but I was interested in property investing, especially after reading ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’.
Laki purchased six property investments in England over a 4 year period. He also helped a number of his colleagues do the same using the same simple strategy he used.
In 2016, Laki added Finance Broking to his skills. Laki has a passion for property and loves helping people fulfil their dreams when it comes to buying property as an owner occupier or as an investor”
Outside of business, Laki enjoys spending his time with his wife Yvette and their little chihuahua Anchovie who always tags along to most of their outings.
