Simone has been working in the Banking & Finance Industry since the early 2000’s. She first started out as a Mortgage Broker at the age of 18. This was both challenging and rewarding and Simone experienced some good success in both broker and broker support roles although she was finally attracted by the bright lights of a Big Bank. She started with a role in Credit Assessment for Residential Lending followed by roles in both Commercial and Agricultural Lending & Business Banking teams as an Assistant Manager.
After 7 years of working for Banks, Simone saw an opportunity to support Finance Broking businesses through remote assistance of loan application lodgement and tracking as a third party provider. This lead Simone to starting up a business with a Bank colleague and building that business from the ground up of the next few years.
Simone came into contact with WiZDOM Loans through that business, and instantly loved the strategy, support, network and the relationships they had with their clients.
Simone is also a keen property investor, investing with her family as this works well for her so she can spend more time doing what she is more so passionate about – finance and helping clients achieve their property goals. Simone is particularly passionate about renovations having completed several over the years with cutting her teeth on her first at age 23. She loves to be hands on and getting on the tools!
In the time that Simone spends away from WiZDOM, she loves travelling Australia and Overseas. Scuba diving and Golf are two passions that she gets to enjoy whilst travelling.
